Choptank Electric has two new substations in the planning/construction stages: Construction is expected to begin soon at Bayly Substation in Cambridge. Construction at the Rockawalkin Substation in Wicomico County is nearly complete. We hope to energize it by February 2012. Work is proceeding on the new operations office in St. Michaels. The office is expected to open by early April.
